Fundamentals of Typography - On Indesign Training Modules and Tutorials

So you don't have the time to take a BA in Graphic design but still want to use InDesign? Join the club. Sometimes, it can be a solution to take weekend or evening courses, but some of us prefer to learn from home - at our own pace. Some of us also don't want to learn from scratch, but want to update or expand our knowledge and skills.
When it comes to online training or tutorials for InDesign, I personally think there are two solutions for two demands.
If you want a serious comprehensive training on both past and/or current versions of InDesign, a great option is lynda.com. Serving a mass of individuals and over 10.000 organisations, Lynda.com is a popular online learning platform owned by LinkedIn that offers a qualitative option for a reasonable price. It currently contains over 7000 items - both courses and individual tutorial videos - on InDesign at beginner, intermediate and advanced level. The bonus is that lynda.com offers a 10-day free trial. If you decide to subscribe, you pay $19,99 for the basic version and $29,99 for premium access. Not too shocking, really - if you take into account what a proper education can actually cost.
If you want to find good tutorials about single aspects of InDesign at both beginner and pro levels, always visit the InDesign tutorials on Adobe.com. The turorials - often based on FAQS - are free and always concern the latest version of Adobe InDesign on their website.
